Quality Control
The Challenge:
The quality manager had little or no visibility of how key conform it measures and standards for internal processes were being applied by the 24 regional branches in this organisation .
When we engaged with the client, much of the quality manager’s time was dedicated to manually collating information to summarise the adherence of each branch to these quality standards and processes.
The client needed a way to provide the quality manager, and eventually all branch staff with direct visibility into internal process and measures of conformity against quality standards.
The task was to create comprehensive, visually alerting reports that would operate in a third party system and be visible at various personnel levels.
Official Intelligence was selected to design and develop several Crystal Reports that would allow all staff to instantly access the process conformity information they needed. The reports were to be run manually from a third party system in any branch.
The Solution:
Two reports – a candidate check report and a client check report – were created. Internal processes - such as reference checking, identification checking, and contracts of service signed for candidates and credit checks and terms and conditions signed for clients – were displayed on each. Visual alerts were invoked to raise awareness if conformity falls below acceptable levels.
Official Intelligence designed an initial set of prototypes to be tested by the quality manager and key personnel.
The Results:
Immediately information for which there was no visibility is accessible at executive management level. The Quality Manager is confident “these will make my life and the life of others a lot easier”
